Know why you are buying a casual shirt

Casual shirts are the best of both worlds: they have the shape of a formal or business shirt, but the style and appeal of casual wear. This makes them a great choice for everyday wear and smart-casual events and parties. Best of all – you don’t need to tuck them in! So they go great with almost any type of trouser, or even shorts. They’re not meant to be worn in formal settings, and because of that, you’ll find some of our casual shirts are made of unconventional materials with abstract designs.

Bold and vibrant prints are in

You may have noticed our newest range of casual shirts added more floral designs to our range, and this is because bold and vibrant flower and nature inspired prints are on-trend across Europe. The key is to express yourself, and many men are using their casual shirts to add a splash of colour to their wardrobes.

Go for lighter materials

Casual shirts are sometimes referred to as summer shirts (though they can be worn all year round), and that’s because they are typically made of lighter material. Our shirts are typically 100% cotton or viscose, which makes them very durable and lightweight.

Long or short sleeved?

Both types are summer-ready, with our long sleeve shirts easy to roll up.

Collar or no collar?

A more recent trend is the return of collarless shirts. These are sometimes called “granddad” shirts, but there’s nothing old school about them! These shirts avoid having a collar all together, as the “casual” in casual shirt means you’re not wearing a tie, so why bother with a collar?

Many wear an undershirt with a casual shirt. A top tip is to contrast the colours of the casual shirt with the undershirt, to help your casual shirt visually standout even more.
